Dr. Carl Truesdale

Committed to medicine since the age of ten, Dr. Truesdale double-majored in Biology and Spanish at Morehouse College before earning his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. He then completed five years of specialized training in Otolaryngology — Head and Neck Surgery at the top-ranked University of Michigan. His training culminated in a highly coveted fellowship in Beverly Hills, making him one of fewer than 50 facial plastic surgeons to earn the distinction that year.
Patients travel near and far for Dr. Truesdale's artistic eye and meticulous precision. He combines his experience as a portrait artist with an advanced knowledge of facial anatomy and world-class training to deliver truly remarkable results — a unified perspective that treats every face as a composition in proportion, harmony, and detail. Dr. Truesdale is double board certified in Facial Plastic Surgery and Otolaryngology — Head and Neck Surgery.

Dr. Robert Drummond

Dr. Drummond holds an MD and PhD in Cellular and Molecular Medicine from Johns Hopkins University — the same institution that awarded him its Distinguished Medical Alumni Award in 2022. He doesn't just transplant hair; he understands why follicles behave the way they do at the molecular level.
This means smarter treatment plans, optimized graft survival, and results grounded in science. His expertise is especially valuable for complex cases and combination surgical/non-surgical approaches.
A Morehouse College alumnus (magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, Biology), Dr. Drummond completed his Internal Medicine residency at LAC+USC Medical Center and a Hematology postdoctoral fellowship at UCLA. He previously served as Regional Lead Physician and Director of Labs at Optum, where he oversaw clinical operations and laboratory standards across multiple locations.
His service extends beyond medicine: Dr. Drummond is a former Captain in the California Army National Guard, where he served for six years. Today, in addition to his work at Crown, he maintains a concierge medicine practice serving entertainers, athletes, and high-profile professionals across Los Angeles.
As a sought-after medical voice, Dr. Drummond is a contributing expert and on-air contributor for BET, CBS, NPR, A&E, and KBLA, where he translates complex medical science into clear, accessible guidance for the public.
